About Adria Feinman-Girouard Memorial Fund

My mother, Adria Feinman-Girouard, died by suicide on March 16, 2005. She was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, educator, voracious reader, Trekker, science fiction fan, cat lover and a dreamer who always hoped to find herself in the stars. My mother left this world too soon, and as her son and one of the people who knew her best, I firmly believe that if she had access to support and services when she was most at risk, she may still be with us today. I have established this fund in her honor to make sure others who are at risk are able to have the resources and programs they need. Through public awareness, education, training and consulting, grief support, research and innovation, and other resources, we can have a world without suicide. Thank you for your support.
