Courtney A. Reis A beautiful person with a radiant light Middletown – Courtney A. Reis, 30, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019. She was the wife of her beloved Chelsea (Mehmet) Reis. Courtney was born in New Britain on November 11, 1988 to Phyllis (Boyea) Reis and the late William J. Reis. Courtney was raised in Wolcott and graduated from Wolcott High in 2006. She worked for Protein Sciences in Meriden for 8 years. Courtney’s hobbies included woodworking, and often made toys for her cherished nephews. She loved photography and music, especially Billy Joel. She was a Patriot’s fan, and a true whiskey connoisseur. She loved snuggling with her cheeseball dog, Jax. The most important thing for Courtney was spending time with her beloved family and friends and taking trips, especially to Rhode Island. Courtney loved with all her heart and was open and accepting. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by everyone. Courtney’s memories will be forever treasured by her wife, Chelsea, whom she loved with all her heart; her loving mother, Phyllis Reis; her cherished brothers, Bryan Reis, of Middletown; and Jonathan Reis, and his wife, Stephanie, of New Britain; her adored nephews, William and Adam; her brother in law, Keith Mehmet, and his wife, Breanna, and her niece, Savannah of Norwich; and her beloved dog, Jax; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held at noon. Burial will be held privately.
