My name is Chloe butler and my dad is Daniel James Butler and he committed suicide on October 14th 2020...
He took his own life, He was in pain. He was depressed. He was lonely. He was not in his right mind and he decided it was time. My dad was the best he loved us girls to the moon and back. We would always want to play video games with him because he literally taught us girls how to play that’s what turned us into tomboys. The best video game I played with dad was “gears of war” most definitely, me and him finished all 5 of them together just sitting on that couch in the living room for hours till mom told me to go to bed. I remember the time when we would order Panda Machi and spend like 200$ just for 1 night and we would eat together, laugh together and just enjoy our 200$ dinner lol. We were always doing something even if it was the little things like fixing the quads in the garage we would spend hours in there just tinkering and he taught us how to ride and if we got hurt we would get back on and keep going. Just like how I got hurt on the 50 and when that wheel was spinning on my leg all I see is my dad come running out of the trailer and throwing that bike 50 feet away from me and he carried me to the trailer and fixed me up, he was my hero. Even watching his favorite movie Star Wars, he was obsessed with it he bought so much Star Wars toys, well I shouldn’t call them toys but i don’t know exactly what they were but he loved them and all the little action figures. I remember when we had the Harley and the red hotRod we would go on little rides brook would be driving the HotRod because I didn’t know how to drive stick, and Ellie would be on the back of the Harley with dad that was really fun. I could go on and on about our dad because he was the fucking best, and I know he loved us so much
But this goes out to everyone that thinks about suicide please don’t. Your life is worth fucking everything. And I know he was hurting and he was in pain and now he is in a better place but that pain got passed down to his family and now we will be suffering. Suicide is not the answer to your problems please ask for help or call the suicidal hotline.
