About Drake Shaver Memorial
Shaver, Drake Thomas Age 17, of Wayzata died on October 2, 2016. He took his life too early and will be dearly missed by his parents, Tom and Cristen Shaver, and his sisters, Crosby and Sophia. Drake attended Wayzata High School where he was a member of the lacrosse and hockey teams. Drake spent his full life fishing on the shores of Lake Minnetonka with friends and at the family hunting camp on Lake Olaf, surrounded by dogs and people who loved him dearly. Drake will be remembered by teammates, classmates, and friends for his kindness, untamable free spirit, and as "Nature Boy", for his eternal love of all things outdoors. Drake is survived by an endless amount of fishing gear, his parents, sisters, grandparents, Don and Lynn Bogdanovich, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and an amazing group of friends, all of whom have given great comfort to his family. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Craig Shaver Jr., and Judy Jones. A memorial service celebrating Drake's life will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 8th, at the Wayzata Community Church, 125 East Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN. Reception to follow.
