About Steven Guillemette
- Born: May 25, 1993;
- Died: November 14, 2021 ( 28 years old)
- Steven was second oldest of six Guillemette children. He had four brothers and one sister.
- Steven’s avocations:
- Loved to spend time with family and friends playing weekly board games, competing at bar trivia, and contemplating lofty subjects.
- Inspired by art, drawing, poetry, and was an avid reader, with myriad of books in his library.
- Drawn to adventure and travel, and was growing into a cigar aficionado.
- Loved to attend movies with his siblings and friends, then critically review each element of the movie. Wes Anderson and Christopher Nolan were his favorite directors.
- Played guitar, sang songs, and began to write / compile topics for a book.
- Truly a creative person who cared deeply for his friends, and family.
- Steven’s achievements:
- Bachelor of Arts degrees in philosophy and psychology from University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Master of Arts (MA) degree in philosophy, with distinction, at Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia.
- Steven was the only Georgia State University graduate student to be awarded the Sandra Dwyer Teaching Award and graduate with distinction.
- Steven was an exemplary student, teacher, and scholar whose thoughtfulness illuminated all of his work.
