The Tara Love Thompson Memorial Fund
Although our Tara lost her battle and her young life, Tara was the first person to rush to someone else’s side to assist them with the same struggles she was experiencing. Mental health awareness was extremely important to her and she would love, that through this fund, others can find the resources they need and prevent more lives being lost. We want to continue her mission for her, in her honor.

    I think about you more days than not. There are so many songs I hear that make me think of you. Thinking of the times we sat on your back porch talking after work. I had never met anyone that understood how deep my feeling are like you did. Which I know was even deeper for you. I miss laughing and just straight head banging with you. I know you finally have the peace you deserve. I pray for your family and friends to have the strength and courage to keep going. I know you’re looking down with a smile on your face.     I have fond memories of Tara being an adorable little one playing in my neighborhood and then the most fantastic babysitter to my kiddos. She always had a smile, kind words and took a genuine interest in people. She was creative, energetic and passionate about whatever was in front of her. She had a positive impact in my life and the the life of my children. She will be missed.

    Tara was such a kind person! I had just transferred to North due to my own struggle with depression when I was a teenager. I was super quiet and shy and she always made an effort to ask me how I was doing in the class we had together. It took years for me to overcome my depression and it was people like Tara who made me feel included and not so alone. ❤️ 🦋
