Doug Evenson January 27, 1968 - December 4, 1996 -- The Ever Open was established to honor our friend/brother/son, Doug Evenson, and to raise awareness of the increasing ravages of suicide.  We gather each year to remember Doug and to remind ourselves about the importance of friendship. We are not alone, and we are always available to one another no matter what the circumstances.

About The Ever Open - In Memory of Doug Evenson

Each Summer about 40 of us get together for a round of golf.  We like to compete, but it's really about camaraderie…a lot of fun and laughs.  We raise a little money and don’t take ourselves too seriously, although suicide is serious and an increasing problem.  Each year so many friends have to miss out on golf for one reason or another, so they ask about how they can donate in Doug’s name.  Well that is a key reason for setting up this fund.  SAVE was there for Doug’s family back in 1996 and we want to help them continue their great work.  Please consider a generous donation in Doug’s name.  Thank you!
